Hot New Chart-Topping Band Paired With Game Currently Burning Up Internet

Developed by Monolith Productions, the shareware version of Blood generated more than 200,000 downloads in its first week of release over the Internet and has been cited as one of the most eagerly anticipated entertainment software titles of 1997. The band Type O Negative has been burning up the charts on the nation’s #1 CD, the soundtrack to Howard Stern’s film "Private Parts."

Type O Negative’s "love you to death" digitized hit video will be included on both the shareware and full retail versions of GT Interactive’s Blood. In addition, Type O Negative will support Blood via on-line promotional events featuring prizes such as concert tickets, autographed band posters, CDs, and PC games.
